The Semi-Automatic Silk Screen Printing Machine GE-VP60120 is a precision PCB solder-mask and photoresist printer for double-sided PCB production lines. A 600 × 1200 mm print area and 1000 panels/hour throughput make it the workhorse for mid-volume PCB lines producing solder-mask, photoresist and SMT solder-paste prints.

Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink through the open mesh apertures onto the panel below. The GE-VP60120 combines a stable pneumatic drive, hardened printing table and programmable squeegee pressure to deliver repeatable ±0.05 mm registration on FR4, CEM and metal-core substrates.

Scope of application: glass, optical disc, nameplate, adhesive, credit card, ceramic paper, wooden toy puzzle, PCB, solder-mask printing, photoresist printing, SMT solder paste, film switch and other planar electronic substrates.

Process Flow

1. Load substrate — operator places blank PCB, glass, or other planar substrate on the vacuum-printing table.
2. Align stencil — the screen frame is mounted in the holder; XY and theta are micro-adjusted for registration.
3. Set squeegee pressure — operator sets squeegee down-force, speed and stroke length on the HMI per recipe.
4. Print stroke — pneumatic squeegee traverses the screen with programmed pressure, transferring ink through the open mesh.
5. Flood stroke — the squeegee returns with flood-bar pressure to re-ink the screen for the next print.
6. Lift & inspect — the screen lifts clear of the substrate; operator inspects print quality visually or via AOI.
7. Unload & cure — finished panel is unloaded and routed to the UV-curing or drying oven downstream.
